Synopsis:

This show offers two very different explorations of science and the most unscientific of all things, Love.

The first act, "The Girl Who Was Plugged In", shows us a world where advertising has been outlawed. Major corporations have been forced to rely upon celebrities to get their message to consumers. GTX corporation takes the next step in celebrity endorsements by building the perfect spokesmodel. The only problem is they need to find someone with so little self-esteem that they won’t mind becoming the animator of this beautiful puppet. What follows is a commentary on commercialism, love and appearances.

The second act, "Her Pilgrim Soul", provides a more contemplative exploration of the eternal nature of love. Kevin has created the most advanced holographic imaging system ever, but now something seems to have gone terribly wrong. Instead of unfeeling, unresponsive projections a woman grows and ages in the chamber leaving Kevin stunned. He and his assistant Daniel struggle to find a reasonable answer for this miraculous event, while Kevin’s marriage crumbles under neglect and confusion.
